Québec, 1er juin 2020 – Galerie.a We are thrilled to announce Galerie.a’s first-ever participation in the Papier Contemporary Art Fair. For the 2020 virtual fair, we have been hard at work finding creative solutions to present the work of our artists and partners.

Papier 2020 runs from June 4–21, entirely online at papiermontreal.com. Galerie.a will be there, presenting twenty works at its virtual booth.

Over fifty new artworks on display online at Galeriea.ca

Galerie.a artists Eve Cadieux, Luca Fortin, Josée Landry Sirois, Antoine Lortie, Virginie Mercure, Tanya Morand, Julie Picard, Carlos Ste-Marie, and Nathalie Thibault have been busy in their studios this winter, and are now ready to unveil their most recent creations. Several new online posts have been prepared as well. In total, over fifty new works have been added to the Galerie.a website.

Don’t miss these highlights:

Viewing Room (Salon virtuel)

As a special feature for Papier, Galerie.a is proud to present its first virtual viewing room featuring 7 invited artists. This exhibition brings together around thirty favourite works including paintings, sculptures, and photographs. The Galerie.a Viewing Room includes works by Eric Cardinal, Guillaume La Brie, Florence Leblanc, Mathieu Lévesque, François Mathieu, Sophie Privé, and Justine Skahan.

Through this special project, Galerie.a is celebrating our existing relationships while unveiling exciting new partnerships that will soon, we all hope, lead to gallery exhibitions in Quebec City.

Zoom meetings with artists

Watch for our Zoom meeting calendar, which will be posted at the beginning of the week. You are invited to virtually meet with a number of artists for a 30-minute videoconference. It’s the perfect opportunity to learn more about these artists’ work and to directly ask them any questions you may have.

Buying online

We are pleased to announce that you can now purchase artworks online on the new transactional page at galeriea.ca. For now, ten works will be available at a time. The shop will be updated every Monday morning, and will showcase a single series, medium, or theme.

Starting today, you can find the prices of all artworks on our website. With a view to facilitating the purchasing process for art collectors, we have now made all the necessary information conveniently available in a single place. The moment a work is purchased, it is immediately removed from the site, so you can browse with the assurance that every work on display is available.
